Isso representa o coração do que fazemos.

Você também terá um encontro a cada 2 meses com todos os sócios da STRIVE juntos (Eduardo e Tiago), pra que possamos te ajudar na execução do negócio com disciplina e foco, além de estar ao seu lado refletindo sobre os dilemas estratégicos mais importantes, fazendo ajustes de rotas com agilidade se necessário.

  • How does your methodology work?
    We don't believe in traditional acceleration programs with limited duration and predefined themes. Entrepreneurial life is not that simple. And we know that each entrepreneur and each business has its many particularities. Therefore, we will be by your side discussing relevant issues as they arise and for as long as necessary. We use proven frameworks, tools and concepts in different types of startups. We help our founders in different meeting formats to find the best solutions on topics such as: Target audience and value proposition Product-to-Market Fit Go-To-Market Strategy Customer Journey & Experience Financial Template. Organizational Culture & Design Management Model, Indicators & OKRs Leadership development Relationship with investors and board Funding
  • How do recurring meetings work?
    In general, the meetings are led by one or more STRIVE partners with the participation of one or more founders and specific teams, depending on the theme of the meeting. Generally speaking, meetings are broken down like this. 1-1 FOUNDER - A monthly meeting (1-1) with founder or founders alternately with an open agenda or even founders together when necessary. In these meetings, individual founders have the opportunity to bring up the hottest dilemmas for an in-depth discussion with a STRIVE partner. All kinds of topics can be brought up in this chat, even personal issues related to the business, relationship with the team and personal motivation. This is a moment for the founder to silence the chaos of everyday life to reflect on the most important questions in his entrepreneurial journey. MANAGEMENT MEETINGS BY THEME - each month, we will have 4 management meetings with a pre-defined agenda, usually 1) marketing/ sales/ growth, 2) Product/ Tech, 3) Operations and 4) Financial/ Legal/ Culture . Depending on the phase of the company, these meetings can be with a founder, the founders or the specific leader of each area, with his team. Always with a STRIVE partner facilitating. This space is an opportunity for us to help teams in specific areas choose their priorities, execute them with discipline and agility, in addition to actively participating in more tactical day-to-day issues. STRIVE COMMITTEE - 1 bimonthly STRIVE committee meeting with the founders and 3 STRIVE partners to discuss more macro and priority themes of the moment. This is an opportunity for the founding team to bring up topics they want to discuss together with the entire team of STRIVE partners. Topics such as budget, funding, business model, strategic choices, culture, investor relations and partner relations are common in this space. PEERS - 1 bimonthly meeting with STRIVE peers. This meeting will always be facilitated by a STRIVE partner, who will decide on a specific relevant topic to be discussed with founders (or key people) of startups different from our portfolio. We strongly believe in learning from our investees and we will optimize this space, facilitating the dynamics and choosing themes and participants at the right time for your reality.
  • After all, are you an accelerator, a VC fund or a Venture Builder?
    As a matter of principle, we don't like to fit into any pre-established concept, because we have our own way of doing things and what we believe. We are an "all-hands-on" accelerator, as we like to say. Unlike a "venture builder", we support and invest in the entrepreneur and his business, not in our idea. Unlike an traditional accelerator, we do not believe in a fast-term support model. We want to be involved early on so we can do it right from the start of your journey. We've seen what works and can replicate the success. As we also experience failures that we can help you avoid!
  • What is STRIVE's business model like?
    Our complete alignment with entrepreneurs is at the heart of our business model. STRIVE only wins if the founders win. We don't have equity in the company directly, so our motivation is the same as the entrepreneur's, long-term success. Due to our personal dedication to each startup, we will have a successful agreement regarding the earnings of the founding-team in the eventual sale of its stake in the company. Until then, the risk is 100% ours. As our main focus is to be aligned with entrepreneurs, all investment raised by STRIVE is made directly by investors, and not by STRIVE. We will retain 10% of this amount so that we can structure our operation and as a reward for the value generated for both entrepreneurs and investors.
  • What do you look for in a founding team?
    We are looking for a team that complements their skills and is aligned with the business vision, purpose and values. We don't like solo-founders, but we encourage you to apply anyway even if this is you and you are open to finding partners to build your business. In general, we are looking for entrepreneurs who breathe innovation. Young people, preferably (but not exclusively) recent graduates with at least 2-3 years of experience. We like to see in the founding team the core competencies that the business will need, including but not limited to product, marketing and sales, operations and tech areas. We want to work with ambitious people, who seek personal development at all times and who have the humility to know that alone they will not get anywhere. We are looking for founders with a founder's mind, passionate about the customer, passionate about the solution and not with a VC mentality.
  • What does a good project need to have to be considered promising?
    We like projects with a strong innovative footprint. Product or business model with the potential to be scalable. Wanting to solve a big problem for a relevant market, and that has a clear value proposition thesis. We want to understand why this new solution is better than the status quo and competitors. Presenting a sustainable business model idea will also be important in the selection process. Finally, it is essential to understand why this problem is relevant for the founding team. Why do you care? Generally speaking, we are looking for opportunities in the following segments: E-commerce SaaS FinTech HRTech EdTech HealthTech
  • Who are the investors?
    We are committed to helping you in your search for investments. In rounds of up to BRL 2 million in each startup through our pool of qualified investors. Our investors are successful entrepreneurs, executives in various industries and professionals with complementary skills that we are convinced can be of value to our startups, especially with contacts with potential customers and partners.   • How does our success fee model work?
    Investors will keep participation in your startup (via safe or other format) based on investment terms. In parallel, STRIVE partners will celebrate a service agreement with the founding team. Keeping a participation % of the founding team related to the dedicated support for 24 months. It is a win-win model.
